Catamaran Cruise with the Dolphins in Mauritius
An unforgettable experience awaits you by discovering the west coast
From 09h00 till 15h30, starting from Black River Bay and sailing along the coastline to Tamarin Bay where the dolphins are often seen. We will take you on a breathtaking snorkelling trip outside the reef of La Preneuse where you will have the opportunity to feed the fish in their natural habitat. We will then sail into the coves and stunning lagoon of Le Morne, where you will relax and enjoy a mouth-watering seafood barbecue in total comfort next to the Benitier Island.
This catamaran cruise includes BBQ lunch buffet and selection of drinks including alcoholic (beer, rum, cocktails…) and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day
The cruise itself starts at 09:00.You will board the catamaran, and have a short pre departure briefing by the boat’s captain. Then the catamaran will depart heading to Tamarin Bay area where you can encounter dolphins in their natural habitat. This is a unique chance to explore the spectacular lives of these magnificent marine mammals in their aquatic habitat.
From Tamarin bay the cruise will continue along the coral reefs to the lagoon of La Preneuse. During the cruise, the catamaran will stop for breaks in some key locations, where you can enjoy a swim and some snorkeling in the sea, or enjoy the sun and drinks on board the catamaran. The snorkeling is a great way to have a glimpse into the mesmerizing marine life and the underwater world of Mauritius.
A delicious BBQ menu will be served onboard the Catamaran. In case you are a vegetarian, please inform us in advance so we can arrange the necessary additions to the lunch.
During the cruise the crew members will make your time enjoyable, they will tell you about local folklore, and play local Mauritian music which will lift the spirits of everyone on board.
Expected return time to Tamarin is about 15:30.
