Mountain Biking Tours around Mauritius
There are many mountainbiking trails in Mauritius. You just need to know where they are! We can take you along some of the most beautiful trails of the island.
- If your a beginner we have the flat cultural trails or if your a regular mountainbiker we also have the more challenging trails for you.
Bras d`Eau (Roches Noire)
This mountainbike trail is good for beginners and for the more serious ones as well. We cycle along the coast of Roches noires to start off then the trail winds inbetween some bush forest before joining the old railway line where we visit some lava caves.
The ride takes us along the ancient railway line until we reache the exotic forest of Bras d`Eau and cycling along shady trails. You may come across an endemic and rare bird the Paradise Fly Catcher. Discover also the ruins of an ancient sugar mill factory and not far away.

- Progear Aluminium 15,17 and 19 inch mounted with shimano Alivio and Acera parts, Rst front suspension (40 MM) and V-Brakes.
- 1 Nakamura with Magura shox and disc brakes.

- 1 Progear XFS A1 (20.5 inch) Double suspension equipped with front disc brake, shimano Xt and XTR parts , Magura Ronin 110mm front fork.
- 1 Marin (17 inch) mounted with Shimano XT and Mavic Cross Max wheels
- 1 Centurion M6 (20 inch) equipped with Rock shox Pilot front fork, Avid and Shimano XT parts.
- 1 Rocky Mountain double suspension (20.5 inch) equipped with Shimano XTR parts, Sid Race Rock shox front fork, tubeless Bontrager wheels, Hope front and back disc brakes

- Water bottles,spare tubes and pumps, helmets and professional lycra gloves, 1 pair of spd pedals available.
To bring:
- Sport shoes or mountainbike shoes with your clip pedals sun cream, mosquito repellent, rain jacket, towel and change of clothes.
